Luke Chapter Six (Prosperity Gospel)

In Luke Chapter Six Jesus is in full swing of his ministry. The Pharisees and Sadducees are being to conspire on what to do with this man who is seeming to disobey God’s law. Jesus, believing that the law was made for man and not man for law, gives an excerpt story from King David’s life regarding that catering the needs of man should supersede the rules when involving hunger or health. Jesus continues healing on the Sabbath.

Jesus then pronounces woes following his beatitudes to showcase characteristics required to achieve the kingdom of heaven on earth. This leaves many dumfounded, but yearning for more wisdom as they continue to follow Jesus to a new kingdom.
